For McHappy Day 2019, McDonald's Canada wanted to do something cool and trendy in order to speak a different audience and create hype around RMHC fundraising. In order to do this, they decided to partner up with Peace Collective: a brand that's all about Canadian pride. The event took place at their flagship location on Ossington.

For this cause, an exclusive McHappy Day X Peace Collective line was created that featured branded T-shirts, socks, and reusable bags. A portion of all money raised would go to RHMC.
For this event, Peace Treats and McCafe also paired up to create this tasty coffee ice cream treat.

Guests could also feast on burgers, obviously. :)
For this event, I designed a change room Photo Booth experience by creating decals that would cover the floor and back wall of the change rooms. After taking pictures, guests would receive a McHappy Day X Peace Collective-branded polaroid printout.

Guests were also encouraged to try on socks and take photos with the "Home is Canada" floor decal.

Cute, right?!
Using the photoshoot images that were provided, I created this large canvas banner that doubled as a backdrop for speakers, as well as a photo opportunity for guests.
This event was definitely a success! We received great coverage from our influencers and helped McDonald’s raise a record $6.6 million for Ronald McDonald’s Children’s Charities.
